At the right, you can clearly see missing insulation in the attic area.  What is not readily seen is that the ceiling can lights are not sealed and are allowing humid house air to escape into the attic area.  This humid air condenses when it hits the cold roof rafters.  This has lead to extensive water damage and even mold growth.
